Hey guys, I use "The Safe Cig" brand of electronic cigarette and I really like it. It's definitely helped me cut back and it comes in handy at the bar now that WI passed the smoking ban. Anyways, I've created a site that reviews e-cigs, and I want it to be truly honest reviews. In order to achieve this I need your help because I've only tried the safe cig so far. It is a cleaner alternative to traditional cigarette smoking. It is free of carbon monoxide and tar, in traditional cigarettes and cigars. An electronic cigarette is essentially litter-less in that it is free of ashes and stubs.

I have received many emails from companies with free offers. If you read the *really* fine print which is usually hidden on the site, they do indeed charge you for this ‘free trial’; usually 90 or $100, after about two weeks. They do frequently give you a few free cartridges. In addition, also in the fine print, they auto ship you cartridges each month and charge you $50 or more automatically. I was turned off by all of this.

I saw the Smoke Stik product on the David Letterman show a few weeks ago. I checked them out. They do not have a ‘free trial’, and they do not auto ship. I am VERY happy with their product and services. I find that the ecigarettes do not last as long as conventional packs of cigs. I think that this is due to the novelty that I have now, I can sneak a drag in the elevator, bathroom etc and I probably go thru the equivalent of more than I did with regular cigs. I imagine as I get more used to them my usage will decline somewhat and the cartridges will last me longer. Currently I go through 1 1/2 cartridge per day, although I used to smoke less than a package of real cigs. Still cheaper though when you buy the cartridges in bulk. ALso, look around, many review web sites have coupon codes for smokestikusa that give you 10% off.

Again, I am very impressed with Smoke Stik USA and heartily recommend them to anyone.

Sorry to hear you had a problem with Smoking Stik -- But the Product being Reviewed here is SmokeStik an entirely Different Company than Smoking Stick. SmokeStik does not offer a trial product, yet they do offer excellent electronic cigarette products. Yes, most discounted prices or free trials usually have a specific time period in which you can return the product for a full refund. I do not understand why you could not return the auto-shipment though. You could first email the Smoking Stick company (so you have a written record) and call them back and tell them you will be returning the product with delivery confirmation notice and once delivery is confirmed, you will be disputing the charges made to your credit card. If they still won't give you an RMA number, you can ask for a supervisor and tell them you will be disputing the charge to your credit card. Followup with an email. Make sure you keep copies of the delivery confirmation information and any emails you send to them or they send to you. You will need that information when disputing the credit card charges -- if it comes to that -- which it probably will not. Most companies hate to have a disputed charge on their record.
